You've got questions. We've (hopefully) got answers!
By now you probably know that user-friendly is our middle name. We work hard to make the site as easy to use
and navigate as possible but at times, there may be an explanation or description that leaves you scratching your
head. In the event this happens (and we do hope it's rare!), we've compiled a handy little list of some of the most
frequently asked questions about the site and how it operates, so you can get the most from myTouchTunes.
We try to update this section as much as possible to reflect the growing needs of our users. If you have
questions that are not covered in this section, feel free to contact us and let us know!

Mess around with other people’s playlists (or let them mess with yours)
Some music lovers don’t just want to show everyone else how great their playlists are, they want to challenge
others to improve them. That’s where collaborative playlists come in. With the click of a mouse button, you can
designate any of your playlists as Collaborative and let anyone (or just your friends) add songs to them.
The creator a collaborative playlist still gets the final word though, because sometimes, there’s just no
accounting for taste.
TouchTunes is a company dedicated to bringing you high-quality, on-location entertainment. Comprised of a dedicated
team of music buffs, we are passionate about what we do and are committed to making sure the music plays wherever you do.

Terms of Use
Like most people, we don't like rejection and we most certainly don't like being the bad guys who have to tell
you that we can't post your profile picture. But on occasion, we have to do just that for a number of reasons,
including copyright infringement of an image that is not your own (think the Rolling Stones logo - can't use it),
use of profanity or offensive imagery or just plain bad taste. Should your profile picture not comply with any of
these guidelines, an e-mail will be sent to you informing you that we cannot post the picture you have submitted,
along with the specific reason.
We encourage you to be creative and express yourself with your profile picture. By abiding by our simple guidelines,
you'll never have to get rejected - well by us, anyway.

Music & Playlists
Tons of titles to choose from!
Creating your playlist is the first step but looking for music to fill it with is where things really start to
rock 'n' roll! Click on your choice of search options on the left-hand side of the screen (artist, title, album or
genre) and let myTouchTunes do the rest.
- To search for a song, artist or album you like, select the appropriate search field on the left-hand side
menu and type in your search.
- Enter a few characters (three or more) and wait a few seconds. You should see a Quick Pick list of the most
popular search results for the entered text.
Creating a playlist is fast and simple.
Ready to tune in? Create other playlists by typing any name you choose in the "Create a Playlist" box on the
right-hand side of your screen. It will automatically appear just above and bingo. You've created a new playlist.
Now the real fun begins!
After creating your 7th playlist, you might think one of them has disappeared. The trick is, you only see 6
playlists at a time. To see the 7th one, just scroll down or up with the top and bottom arrows on the right hand
side of your list of playlists.
So your playlists are filled up and you're ready to unleash them on your next party or gathering. Just
locate your nearest myTouchTunes-enabled digital jukebox, look up your personal playlists and get spinning.
It doesn't get any easier than that!
So you're probably thinking, "How will I know if a jukebox is myTouchTunes-enabled?" Well, like everything else
about our service, the answer is simple. Just look for the "Make Your Playlists" icon or "Login to myTouchTunes" icon
at the bottom-left of the main screen. (If you don't see either of these icons, the jukebox is not myTouchTunes-enabled - yet.
But we're working on bringing all of our jukeboxes up to speed soon.) When you find the icon, touch it and you will be led
to a login screen, where you will be prompted to enter your username and password. Once you've logged in, the jukebox
will then display your playlists.
That's it - an instant music party, styled by you…with a little help from myTouchTunes, of course. (Because we love a party too!)
Ah, we're glad you asked! Well ok, we asked for you but it's still important. First, look for one of the nearly
30,000 TouchTunes jukeboxes across America by looking for the TouchTunes logo. Then, simply find the "Make your playlists"
icon at the bottom-left of the main screen. If the icon isn't there, the jukebox is not myTouchTunes enabled yet but don't
fret - we're working on it and won't stop until all of our jukeboxes are myTouchTunes-enabled.
So your playlists are filled up and you're ready to unleash them on your next party or gathering. Just
locate your nearest myTouchTunes-enabled digital jukebox, look up your personal playlists and get spinning.
It doesn't get any easier than that!
I'm missing music!
Sometimes, we have the right to play a song in one country, but not necessarily in another. This means that even
if you add a specific song to your playlist, we have to make sure that it doesn't play in any country in which it is
not authorized. For example, if you live and load your playlists in the US, we may not have the right to play some of
your music in Mexico, for example, and those songs which may not be played may be filtered from a jukebox in that country.
Other times, the jukebox's location setting may filter out some songs. Why, you ask? Perhaps the bartender doesn't
want to hear the Macarena over and over again or maybe the owner of the establishment in which the jukebox is located
wants to filter out songs with inappropriate lyrics or content.
A playlist becomes popular through the number of plays any of its songs receive in a myTouchTunes-enabled jukebox.
Why were these songs recommended to me?
Leave the searching to us! The music sleuths at TouchTunes will automatically recommend songs we think you will
like based on the music contained in your playlists and the information you entered in your musical profile. We then
present our suggestions to you in the "Tunes for You" feature. If you like them, go for them, if not, we'll just
keep on trying!
What was that song?
A cool feature of the myTouchTunes-enabled jukebox, "Juke Plays" lets you keep track of the songs you play often or the ones
you've played most recently. The lists can be used to make sure the songs you play often stay on your playlists.
Every shared playlist has a button called Favorite on its details page. Just click it to add it. Naturally, clicking Unfavorite does the opposite.
Of course. If you find a playlist you like, or think would be even better with a bit of tweaking, click the Copy button on any playlist’s details page to make it a myPlaylist. This copy of the playlist is now yours, not just a link to the original. Modify its name and song listing all you want!
Favorites are links to other people's playlists. Unless they've given you collaborative rights, you can't modify them. However, myPlaylists are your own. Edit them, delete them, share them, make them collaborative - they're yours, do whatever you want!
Once you’ve set a playlist as a Favorite, you can set it to be visible on jukeboxes when you’re logged on (and no one needs to know the great selection of tunes you’re playing on a jukebox is really someone else’s).
There is no limit to the number of Favorites you can track with a myTouchTunes account. However, you can create a maximum of 25 myPlaylists per account.
25 in total, from any combination of Favorites and myPlaylists. Your myPlaylists will always be displayed above your Favorites on a jukebox.
If you can't see one of your Favorites or myPlaylists on a jukebox, adjust its Show/Hide attribute from the Manage Playlists page. Keep in mind that you can display a maximum of 25 playlists on a jukebox.
The Manage Playlists page is a nifty area for quickly changing the attributes of all your myPlaylists. Make a myPlaylist Public (so that everyone can see them on a jukebox), or keep it Private so only you can see it when you log on to a jukebox. A playlist requires at least 5 songs to be made Public.
Again, the Manage Playlists page is the place to go. Just change the On Jukebox attribute to either "Show on jukebox" or "Hide on jukebox" so that you will see (or not see) a Favorite or myPlaylist on the jukebox when you log on.
Naturally. Just make sure the myPlaylist is set as Public, then change its Collaborative attribute to either everyone, friends only, or only me.
Think of a collaborative playlist as a punch bowl. By making a playlist collaborative, you let others spike the punch however they want (except with collaborative playlists, the list’s administer can un-spike the punch). And if you’re the one invited to join a collaborative playlist, be prepared to spike.
First, make the playlist one of your Favorites. Then, anytime you add a song to a playlist by pressing the plus symbol, you have the option of adding it to one of your Collaborative playlists.
If a playlist is collaborative, only you or the playlist’s owner could have removed it (by clicking the garbage pail icon).
